SUMMER PROGRAMS
Shuffles is excited to offer continued dance training in both Tap, Jazz, and Musical Theatre during the summer months. Read below for more information.
DANCE INTENSIVE
Kick off summer at Shuffles with classes to sharpen your dance skills! Classes will include both technique and performance instruction featuring Broadway style choreography to solidify technique application. This specialized intensive is a great way to prepare yourself for fall classes and become a well-rounded performer. ​

Over 5 days, students will take 10 classes in Tap, Musical Theater, and Jazz. Students will be sorted into groups based on age and experience on the first day. See a sample schedule below!

Our summer intensive will be grouped by level
Ages-5-18
SUMMERSTOCK
Dive into characters, sing, dance, act, and put on a show - in a week! From audition to performance, we put on a full musical in 15 hours. Summer Stock at Shuffles is a great way to work on important performance skills such as projection, script memorization, picking up choreography, collaboration, ensemble building. and teamwork. These skills are invaluable not only in the world of theater, but in all industries.
All shows will rehearse in-person from 3:30-6:30pm with a performance on the final day.

Charlie Brown (Ages 6+)
Dates: June 8th to 13th
Based on the beloved Charles Schulz comic strip, Charlie Brown and the entire Peanuts bunch explore life's great questions as they play baseball, struggle with homework, sing songs, swoon over their crushes, and celebrate the joy of friendship.

Seussical (Ages 6+)
Dates: June 15th to 20th
Seussical is a fantastical, magical, musical extravaganza! Our students will bring to life all of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, lazy Mayzie and a little boy with a big imagination – Jojo. ​
