Shuffles alum, Trevor Sullivan, recently brought the art of tap dance to the Berkshire School. Sullivan not only presented a piece of original tap choreography in last year’s spring concert, but also wrote about the impact Shuffles had on him for a memoir assignment in his advanced English course. Sullivan states, “I had always loved to dance, running around my apartment and dancing up a storm whenever there was music on. I never imagined that taking tap lessons would carry me on a step-ball change journey all the way to high school…The most exciting part about joining Shuffles was the fact that the head of the studio, Gail Crutchfield saw an enormous amount of potential in me.”
